How might a material become a manifestation of the relational feminine? This wearable garment integrates auxetic structures’ relational adaptability to the body and environments’ movement through fully hand-cut incisions in white paper. The repetitive movement of the incision becomes an exercise in contemplation and meditation, and a projection of the body onto the paper membrane that will soon coat it, adapt to it, and reveal it.
