Title: Temple of Woven Nebulae

Year: 2026

Medium: Digital spatial installation

Who are they, who move across these woven caves?

Temple of Woven Nebulae bursts forth from a woven artifact to explore how the ancestral practice of weaving can become a digital landscape that reveals pathways towards alchemical transfiguration. Scanned in 3D using photogrammetry, the woven artefact (seen in previous projects like Cocoon and Metamorfosis) acquires a new life through this multilayered transformation. The geometry of the resulting 3D weave is digitally manipulated using Rhino and Houdini, extending material craft into the digital realm. The spatiality of the weave is explored as an alternate, matrixial, alien architecture, shifting human scale and form.

Closing in, new spaces become perceptible, malleable, scalable, and are fragmented and reworked in this digital realm. Ultimately, the woven artifact is through this transformative process inhabited by beings from an alternate world, offering alternate perspectives for habitation.
